Art Cosgrove - The Unsung Hero of NASA's Apollo Missions

On the 50th Anniversary of Neil Armstrong stepping foot on the Moon with Apollo 11, we flew to the Kodak Center in Rochester, NY to meet with some amazing people that played an integral role in the mission. Art Cosgrove is one of such unsung heroes. While working for Kodak in the 60’s, he was recruited by NASA to help develop the Lunar Orbiter. The goal of the Lunar Orbiter Mission was to capture images of the Moon and learn information that was critical in the success of the following Apollo Mission. Without the success of Art’s Lunar Orbiter, undoubtedly Neil would not have set foot on the Moon in ‘69, or perhaps ever.
